NEW SMYRNA SPEEDWAY  - 05.30.09

It's shaping up to be a big night Saturday at the high-banked half-mile. Joining the FASCAR Weekly Racing divisions will be Doug Rose and the infamous Green Mamba Jet Car.

Following the nights Feature Races, Rose will make a few passes down the track, before strapping an autombile behind the after-burners and melting it to the ground.

We are also welcoming in the Mini-Cups for their first Saturday night appearance in quite sometime. Close to 30 cars are expected, and if all make the trip, fans should be treated to some great Racing from the scaled racers.

This Saturday will also feature a special Vehicle Display by the National Guard, we will also be honoring the Volusia County Middle School Students of the National Guard's "Stay On Track" Drug Prevention Program.
