Wisconsin's Ty Majeski took the victory in the 50th Annual Florida Governor's Cup 200 on Sunday afternoon. Majeski came from the 28th starting spot to the front of the field in a thrilling event at the fast half-mile oval. .
Thomas Officially Named NWAAS Division III Natl Champ

New Smyrna Speedway Sportsman driver Patrick Thomas of Oviedo has been officially crowned the NASCAR Division III National Champion.
In 15 starts, Thomas took 11 wins along with 14 top five finishes. NASCAR counts only the best 14 races of your season, which left Thomas with no room for error in his quest for the title.

Week number 12 of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Racing Series at New Smyrna Speedway saw an excellent crowd, awesome late May weather, and some of the best and most interesting racing of the season. The night featured a 100-lap Bright House Challenge Series Super Late Model feature that saw Travis Cope lead wire-to-wire for the win.

New Smyrna Speedway officials have announced a new purse for the Modified division and has introduced for the Bomber division (former Strictly Stocks). A Modified feature win will now pay $500 with the Bomber feature winner receiving $125.
New Tire for Modifieds, Super Stocks & Sportsman

Effective at the beginning of the 2015 season, the Modifieds, Super Stocks and Sportsman divisions will run the Hoosier R 750 tire. Teams in these three divisions will be allowed to use their existing tires for the first two races only. Starting the third week, the Hoosier R 750 tire will be the only tired allowed for these three divisions.
