Bright House Challenge Series Details Released
The Bright House Challenge Series returns to the New Smyrna Speedway this year, and will feature the top Super Late Model teams from around Florida and the United States. The four-race series at New Smyrna is the longest running Late Model series in the state of Florida and is slated to begin on May 28.
The Clyde Hart Memorial on June 30, the Marion Edwards Memorial on September 24, and the Hart to Heart Breast Cancer 100 on October 29 will all be a part of this year’s Bright House Challenge Series.
The payout to the winners and for each position is currently to-be-announced, but each race will pay $500. In lieu of a points fund, each driver who finishes in the top ten in points and runs all four races will receive $1,000.
There is also over $15,000 in contingency awards. To be eligible for the contingency awards, a driver has to finish in the top ten in points and run all four races in the series.
The winner of each race will also earn a provisional in The Governor’s Cup 200 on November 13. The series champion will earn a guaranteed 5th-place starting position in The Governor’s Cup 200 as well.
