Rules & Competitor Payout Information

NASCAR Licenses
A NASCAR License is REQUIRED to race at New Smyrna Speedway and the Whelen All-American Series.

Featured Division License – Super Late Models:
All Featured Division Drivers will receive Track, State and National Points and be eligible for all three. The Featured Division License is $200.00. (Temporary 15-day license: $50)

All Other Division and Crew License:
All non-Feature Division Drivers will receive Track Points. The “NASCAR Charger” License is $100.00 All Crew licenses will be $100.00. (Temporary 15-Day License: $25. Crew members are NOT required to purchase NASCAR Licenses.)

All NASCAR Licenses MUST be purchased at the Track Office (Mon-Fri 9-5) or in the Pit Office on race day. If you have any questions, please call the Track Office at 386-427-4129.

Addendum to Sportsman Rules:
JUNE 13. 2016
J. Heads: Any stock, straight plug, steel or cast head. No gasket matching. World Product SR head ok. May run Vortec Heads must add 50 pounds. Must meet all head rules.

DECEMBER 22, 2016
BODY: G. Maximum rear quarter panel height is 36.5 inches 
SUSPENSION: C: Must be on the lead lap to claim shocks

APRIL 19, 2017
D. Nose covers mandatory. Front splitters may either be made in the nose or fabricated but may not be any longer than 3 ¼” and with a maximum of 3 supports no larger than ½” rod.
