New Smyrna Speedway...Change for the Future.
New Smyrna Speedway is making changes for the future.
"We are going into our 60th year of racing and family entertainment, we want to make it big.
This is the beginning of many changes.
We have the best drivers, fans and staff that come to our facility that call New Smyrna Speedway their home track.
Some decisions are hard to make, for the sport and facility, we want to keep the tradition of racing alive at New Smyrna Speedway.
We will be looking for working partners to work alongside NSS to grow our passion for racing. We want to thank our drivers that support NSS and keep our fans on the edge of their seat.
NSS will start with the increase in payout for the Ashley Homes Jax Trucks and the Sportsman Division. These divisions have shown a lot of enthusiasm at NSS with great truck and car counts. We do want to give huge thanks to Chuck Heirs and Todd Haag. Chuck, with Ashely Homes stepped up to the plate a few years ago and made a huge impact on truck racing in Florida.
The new payout schedule for the Trucks and Sportsman will be as follows.

We will be actively seeking sponsors to make payouts even better.
The Florida Mini Stock Challenge series, we tried our best to bring this division back to what it once was. Unfortunately, it did not yield the desired results. We will keep Mod Mini as a racing class, but it will resume as single 25 lap races without the FMSC purse.
We are committed to doing the best we can.
We will be going to $30 NASCAR and $40 non-NASCAR at the pit gate.
These changes will go into effect immediately. We are excited about these changes and look forward to seeing you at New Smyrna Speedway, your NASCAR HOMETRACK!!
